Hellebores

We have been secretly working hard over the past seven years in hybridising and selecting a range of Hellebores that are very different to what is being offered commercially. There are plenty of modern hybrids that have a great deal of similarity but our aim is to bring a selection of unique colour forms and in particular a range of ‘anemone centered’ hybrids that cannot be replicated by seed; these hybrids are truly breath-taking with a central ruff of small petals that stand out from the crowd. Hellebore Pink Ballerina

Introduced 2020

An orientalis hybrid producing numerous fully double soft pink flowers that seem to be nodding outwards.

Flowers quite early in the season reasonably compact in habit.

Hellebore Snowdrift

Introduced 2020

This is a spectacular variation on the well-known ‘Christmas Rose’ or niger that is so familiar.

Large saucer shaped flowers that face outwards, pure white in colour but having delightful inner rays of additional sepals that gradually open varying slightly in size, forming a double bloom.

Hellebore Sugar Plum

New introduction for 2021

This extremely pretty plant is a must have. Mid-size icing pink flowers are numerous on a mature plant.

Each flower has a unique colour combination , the reverse is a soft pink with an icing pink on the inside that seems to glisten drawing you to the deep central plum eye, simply magical.
