For over a decade, New World Plants has been quietly breeding and refining a Helleborus collection that stands apart from standard commercial offerings. While many modern hybrids share a familiar look, our focus has been on developing genuinely distinctive colour forms—most notably a striking range of plants that cannot be replicated from seed.

These exceptional hellebores fall into two distinct groups: The first is the anemone-centered forms, characterised by a dramatic central ruff of true petals that creates outstanding depth and presence-an unmistakable point of difference in other varieties being offered for sale. The second group comprises single-flowered varieties, selected for their unique and often unconventional colour forms, including striking bicolours rarely seen in commercial ranges.

Across both groups, each variety has been carefully selected for rich flower colour, strong stems and uniform growth. This ensures consistency, reliability and impact on the retail bench in garden centres, and something different for landscapers and professional growers alike. All varieties are supplied via micropropagation, maintaining plant health, vigour and true-to-type performance throughout the collection.
