Salvia Lipstick

A recent introduction we felt worthy to be included. An excellent free-flowering Salvia with vibrant almost fluorescent peach-pink flowers with white markings from July-November. Small, narrow elliptical foliage. A variety which stands out from the rest of the new cultivars. 75cm x 60cm.

An NWP introduction. Discovered in Australia it is a perennial cross between Salvia darcyi x microphylla. It shows the typical S.darcyi leaf. Flowers are tubular coral-red in colour which appear in early summer to autumn. Needs trimming to maintain vigour and shape. Needs protection from severe frosts by mulching. 1.2m x 90cm.

Helleborus niger Snowdrift

This is a spectacular variation on the well-known ‘Christmas Rose’ or niger that is so familiar. Large saucer-shaped flowers that face outwards, pure white in colour but having delightful inner rays of additional sepals that gradually open varying slightly in size, forming a double bloom.
